On 29 September 2026, respond.io informed us we had become a Gold Partner, the first in Singapore and the first in Asia. Purely by coincidence, on the same day, we caught up with their team in person at the Retail Asia Summit in Singapore.
Gold isn't something a partner applies for. respond.io sets it based on the businesses a partner has helped launch on the platform and how far they have gone since, so we read it as a measure of what our clients have built.
What Gold means
respond.io's partner programme has three tiers: Bronze, Silver and Gold. As at 10 October 2026, the other Gold partners in respond.io's partner directory are based in Latin America, Spain and the Middle East, which makes us the only Gold partner in Asia for now.
Behind the tier are 300+ AI employees that we have built and run for 30+ businesses. respond.io has just published a customer story on our work, which names us its first Gold Partner in APAC and shows 12 million+ conversations managed for our clients, with a 97% client retention rate.
Always learning
We have made many mistakes along the way, and learnt a great deal from every part of the work: setting up respond.io workspaces, building workflows and automations, writing message templates, connecting CRMs, and planning messaging and broadcast strategies for our clients.
Above all, we have learnt how to build AI that does far more than answer FAQs. Today that means AI agents that act, AI teams that work together across a business, and custom AI harnesses: the systems that connect AI to a company's own tools and data. They book appointments, update the CRM, follow up on open quotes and bring in the right person at the right moment.
The aim is not fewer people. It is to take the heavy, repetitive work that does not need a human off our clients' teams, so they can spend their time on customers and on growing the business, and enjoy their work more. We are always looking to improve what we build, and Gold is a reason to raise the bar even higher.
